Maia Festival

In Maia, Portugal, the century-old popular devotion festival in honor of “Nossa Senhora do Bom Despacho” (“Our Lady of Good Dispatch”) has its origins in the Maia region and dates back to at least the year 1610. “Good Dispatch” refers to the granting of Mary’s prayers in favor of those who turn to her.

In this project in 2016, we created the concept and designed the brand, anticipating the implementation of the brand in a place branding context to support the promotion of all the activities planned over the 25 days of celebrations that are developed annually. This project resulted from a long-term vision to develop structured actions – both by the municipality and by the Organizing Committee.
