BRQ was founded in 1993 and is one of Brazil’s largest and most important technology companies. The company employs over 3500 people and has offices in São Paulo, Alphaville, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and New York.
We redesigned the brand as part of a strategic review process following a suggestion from Global Brands, which was managing the process. We were part of the team from the outset so were able to incorporate a design perspective into the strategic review process. We developed a design process reflecting one of the main reasons for BRQ’s success, its ability to challenge conformism and comfort zones using innovation and boldness. The inverted “B” mark’s the company’s irreverence towards conformism when creating innovative solutions.
