The project

The Portuguese city of Resende is located in a region with one of the most iconic landscapes in the world: the Douro region, with its famous Port wines and other wine-making icons.  However, Resende is widely known as the “land of the cherry”, with its tiered landscape dotted with cherry trees that produce exceptional fruit.  The cherry, the icon representing Resende’s identity, was poetically represented as the brand symbol and integrated into the countryside, creating a unique brand.

The visual identity process employed a wide range of resources and applications to provide a versatile and coherent brand architecture.
